The unit throwing sparks can be caused by a few reasons.
1.) Electric Break
- For safety reasons, the equipment is supplied with an electric break system for the saw blade. The equipment may therefore emit an odor or generate sparks when it is switched off. This has no influence on the operational performance or safety of the equipment.
2.) Carbon Brushes need to be replaced
- In case of excessive sparking, have the carbon brushes checked by a qualified electrician.
Important: The carbon brushes should not be replaced by anyone other than a qualified electrician.
3.) Cutting Material
- In the event you are cutting a metal material , sparking can occur due to friction.
Important: Please ensure you are using the correct blade for the desired cutting material.
